| An Associate is a member who has not passed the RPT examinations. Associates may be studying piano technology and working toward RPT status, or may be piano retailers, rebuilders, refinishers or other specialists. |

| All Associate members have agreed to abide by the Piano Technicians Guild Code of Ethics: I will act honorably and in a professional manner. I will render the best possible service under the circumstances, always keeping the best interests of my client in mind. I will uphold the principles of honesty and integrity for which the Piano Technicians Guild stands. I will use the name and trademarks of the Piano Technicians Guild properly and will encourage others to do the same. I will strive to upgrade my professional skills and I will encourage and help others to do the same. I will promote, in any way that I can, good will toward my profession and toward the music industry. Ron Boyd has been
servicing,tuning and
repairing pianos since
2003. He is a graduate
of the American School
of Piano Tuning.
Ron also regulates actions, reshapes
hammerheads, installs climate control
systems, cleans, replaces key tops,
and re-bushes keys.

Sandy Sherry received
her Bachelor of Arts in Music
from Ottawa University,
graduating summa cum laude and
receiving distinction on her
comps. While she enjoys
playing piano, organ, guitar and recorder, her
main instrument is the harp. Sandy is an
Associate Member of the Guild, and has been
tuning pianos since 1998. Also, she provides
on site minor repairs. Based in Oconomowoc,
Sandy primarily serves the western Milwaukee
suburbs to her east, and through Watertown to
the west. She enjoys the feeling that her job is
a means of “bringing harmony” to others.

services pedal and lever
harps. He spent eight years
w/ the Lyon & Healy harp company in
Chicago before relocating to the Milwaukee
area.

restringing, grand and vertical regulation,
keytop replacement and voicing.
